Charly bought a new parcel of land about 3 years ago and has been developing it for organic certification. This is the first release, named after his grandmother Simone Thévenet. A picture of his grandparents adorns the label. The vines are 50 years old and the soil, more sandy, more alluvial and more "developed" soils, making for a more traditional Beaujolais.
 
The wine is fresh and elegant, with juicy red berry aromas. The mouth is juicier, the wine body is lighter, and it is also a lot of red berries, the number of tannins is medium and more delicate, and the back part shows a slight minerality. The aftertaste is medium in length and is generally very easy to drink.
